On February 21st, Ashland Equestrian welcomed our first foal of 2022! Baby Iris is a gorgeous little filly by W. H. Topgun out of Porspoder xx. Porspoder, or Posey, has Irish thoroughbred lines and has foaled other beautiful babies, including the Connemara half-bred Daithi O’Pondi (TBS Declan Pondi x Porspoder xx). Porspoder’s sire is Dalakhani (IRE). W. H. Topgun is a proven Connemara stud and a personal favorite stallion in my breeding program! During his competitive career he excelled in eventing and dressage and he passes on his wonderful temperament!
